Pole Barn KitsOverview
MGC designs and manufactures a broad range of modular pole buildings, including storage sheds, center aisle horse barns, cabins, portable offices, run-in sheds, storage sheds, shedrows and portable offices.
About MGC
MGC Building Incorporated is located in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and is well known for its modular pole building horse barns and sheds that are aesthetically attractive and in a classic country architectural vernacular.
Modular Horse Barns
MGC modular building kits are delivered in pieces and erected on site with the roof being built out on site. They are built with stick construction methods with wood framing, posts and rafters. Many design and functional options can be added, including dormers, windows, lean-tos and decorative roofs.
Economy Barns
MGC makes an "Economy Modular Barn" that it sells as its most cost-effective way of building a pole barn for horses under 16 hands in height. It is built with oak timber framing, pine siding and long-wearing roof shingles. Once the barn kit is delivered, this barn can be erected in two days. The company also makes "Loft Barns" for larger horses that can have added functionality, including a lean-to or a full hayloft. MGC will customize kit barns to meet your requirements.
Build Your Own
One further cost-saving option is to build out your horse pole barn with your own hands---and maybe those of some friends. In addition to its kits, MGC sells modular barn sections separately for you to assemble and finish on your own. These section orders can be customized to meet your needs and local zoning requirements.
Installation and Other Services
MGC provides contract services to assist in preparation and build out of its pole barn products. The company can handle site excavation, pouring slabs or building foundations, installing rubber mats and site construction of any of its products.
