History
Seminole started out serving Florida's agricultural needs back in April of 1934, when the company first opened. Seminole started its life as a tiny store that bought and sold seed, fertilizer, feed and agricultural items. As the company thrived, it constructed its premier feed mill in 1967. Shortly after, in early 1968, it began producing horse feed.
Significance
Seminole stresses the important of a nutritious horse feed. Seminole encourages giving horses "complete" horse feed, offering all of the vital nutrients to the animal, including carbohydrates, fats and proteins. These nutrients give the horse vitamins, minerals and energy that it does not receive from merely water and forage.
