Seminole Horse Food

Overview

seminole horse food : Overview
Seminole is a popular brand of horse feed. Seminole has been manufacturing horse feed for more than 75 years. Seminole produces an array of horse feed options. Seminole has researched and studied horse nutrition, watched horses live and thrive, and has listened to its customers' desires. As a result, Seminole has been a successful horse food company for decades.

Types

Seminole offers a variety of horse feeds and other nutrition products. These products include hays, forages, horse minerals, horse vitamin supplements and bedding and shaving products. Seminole also manufactures pet feeds (for barn cats and dogs), poultry and livestock feeds.

History

Seminole started out serving Florida's agricultural needs back in April of 1934, when the company first opened. Seminole started its life as a tiny store that bought and sold seed, fertilizer, feed and agricultural items. As the company thrived, it constructed its premier feed mill in 1967. Shortly after, in early 1968, it began producing horse feed.

Significance

Seminole stresses the important of a nutritious horse feed. Seminole encourages giving horses "complete" horse feed, offering all of the vital nutrients to the animal, including carbohydrates, fats and proteins. These nutrients give the horse vitamins, minerals and energy that it does not receive from merely water and forage.

Specialty Feeds

Though Seminole offers plenty of feed options for young and healthy horses, it also makes feeds that are easily digestible for older horses, and feeds formulated for horses with breathing conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heaves.

Geography

Seminole horse feed dealers can be find in the U.S. in Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. There are also Seminole horse feed dealers, in Trinidad, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the West Indies and Barbados.
