Jumps
In preparation for our upcoming horse show, I need to come up with ways to spruce up our existing jumps and make sure we have enough of everything to make a full course.

To do this I first came up with a likely course that I’ll use for the horse show, assumed that I’ll want at least one if not two oxers and that each jump will need some kind of fill underneath it and of course poles. The course I’m going to use has seven jumps which means that by this count, I’ll need eight-nine sets of standards, seven kinds of fill and about 25 poles.

The most simple and inexpensive fill is flower boxes, we already have a lot of these and I’ll go to a local crafts store and buy new fake flowers to put in them to make the jumps look fresh and nice. The other thing that can make a huge difference is freshly painting the poles; make sure you have enough matching poles to have a line of jumps that match reasonably well.
